Position: Global HSE Manager
Location: Scunthorpe, UK (office-based with travel required).
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Shift: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Global HSE Manager to take ownership of health, safety, and environmental leadership across their operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and strategic professional to join a company committed to safety, compliance, and operational excellence within a high-risk, industrial environment. You’ll be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to both day-to-day safety oversight and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide HSE policies and management systems

Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventative/corrective measures

Lead internal and external audits; support incident investigations and analysis

Liaise with clients and subcontractors regarding HSE requirements and performance

Provide training and guidance to staff on HSE procedures and best practices

Monitor compliance with UK HSE legislation and company directives

Support pre-contract planning, including documentation for tenders and HAZOP meetings

Occasionally assisting field operations with training and job management
Key Requirements

Minimum NEBOSH certificate.

Experience of delivering HSE training or education

Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation and compliance

ISO audit experience and incident investigation skills

Effective communicator with strong relationship-building abilities

Industrial services experience is preferred

Must be commutable to Scunthorpe and willing to travel as needed
