Position: Logistics Administrator
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £13.01 per hour
Shift: 06:00 - 15:00, Saturday - Tuesday
About Our Client:
Our client has grown to become an industry leader in the UK and global seafood markets. Through transparent and reliable supply chains, their seafood has become a staple on millions of dinner tables across the UK.
They are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to support year-round operations, ensuring seamless logistics and stock management as part of their 7-day operational schedule.
This role is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity. Successful candidates will be paid weekly through the agency during the initial 12 weeks and will be offered a permanent position based on performance and suitability.
Key Duties:

Manage stock levels and inventory to ensure efficient operations.

Coordinate logistics processes, including inbound and outbound shipments.

Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Monitor and maintain compliance with sustainability and sourcing standards.

Implement and improve supply chain processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:

Proven experience in stock management and logistics operations, particularly using stock systems.

Familiarity with operating systems such as ISS or similar platforms is highly desirable.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chains (preferred).
Qualifications:

Relevant degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.

Proficiency in inventory management software or tools.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
