Online surveyor
We are an established offshore consultancy acting on behalf of our esteemed client in Taiwan, looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Online Surveyor for an immediate start. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to critical nearshore trenching operations, playing a vital role in a dynamic marine project.
About the role:
As an Online Surveyor, you will be integral to the successful execution of nearshore trenching operations. Your work will primarily support projects often involving RHIBs or pump vessels, ensuring precision and accuracy in real-time data acquisition and processing. This demanding project operates on a 24/7 basis, requiring a 12-hour alternating day/night shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:

Provided crucial real-time survey support for nearshore trenching operations.

Perform online data acquisition, processing, and quality control.

Operating and troubleshooting a range of survey equipment.

Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all survey data.

Collaborating effectively with the wider project team to achieve operational objectives.
Project Details:

Location: Taiwan (Project-based).

Duration: Estimated 60–90 days

Logistics: Comprehensive logistics support will be provided, including flights, accommodation, and all necessary visa and work permit arrangements by the client.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

A valid passport with sufficient validity for international travel.

Current OGUK medical certificate.
-
Valid BOSIET or GWO BST certification.
-
Proven background as an Online Surveyor or Survey Technician, with significant practical experience in marine or offshore environments.

Extensive hands-on experience with EIVA Navipac (v4.6.x) and Kuda Core is essential.
Highly Desired Skills & Experience:
Candidates with the following will have a significant advantage:

Additional relevant safety certifications (e.g., GWO and BST, if different from your mandatory certification).

A valid international driving licence.
-
Direct and demonstrable experience in trenching operations.
-
Strong hands-on aptitude for survey equipment, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting in an online environment.
