Position: Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Onsite – Grimsby / Offsite – National
Salary: £20.13 per hour with highly competitive multiple overtime rates available daily and all day at the weekends.
Shift: Onsite – Monday to Friday / Offsite – 12 days on and 2 days off
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our prestigious client’s global team.

With state-of-the-art facilities on the Humber bank, they deliver products and services across key sectors including industrial, food, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical.
Key Requirements:
- Time-served or Level 3 qualified in Fabrication & Welding
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience
- Proven background working within the Food & Beverage Industry
- Extensive experience with 1.5 – 6mm stainless steel and aluminium only
- Strong TIG and MIG welding skills
- Experience in pattern development
- Willingness to work away and at weekends, as required
- Ideally located within a 50-mile radius of our headquarters
- Experience with food process pipe work (Purge weld), dairy, and metric pipe
- Comfortable operating a press brake
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes
- Competent in mechanical assembly and manufacturing conveyors and components
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components to technical specifications
- Cut and shape sheet metal using shears or appropriate tools
- Assemble metal parts using hand and power tools
- Grind and smooth metal surfaces to meet finish standards
- Carry out quality checks to meet company and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Travel to offsite client locations as needed (fully expensed travel time)
- Follow welding codes and project deadlines
- Identify and report defects in materials or processes
- Maintain documentation on welding procedures and inspections
Pay & Hours:
- £20.13 per hour (basic)
- Overtime available daily at highly competitive rates, including full overtime rates on weekends
